Disconnect to Connect

It’s important to disconnect from distractions in order to connect with your inner self and those around you.

It’s easy to get caught up in the latest TV shows, video games, or gossip magazines, but are you so disconnected that you don’t even know who you are anymore? What about your spouse, lover, or best friend?

Distractions keep us from thinking about reality. Though reality can be overwhelming and sometimes depressing, it shouldn’t be ignored. Face reality, at least a few hours each week, so you don’t lose yourself and the ones you love.

All the mind’s activity is easy if it is not subjected to reality.”  ~Marcel Proust
