In Sight, Outta Mind

The phrase “Out of sight, out of mind,” is used all the time, but it’s not the go-to solution for everything, especially when it comes to actionable tasks that are taking up valuable mind space.

When your mind is cluttered with what you have to do today, tomorrow, and six months from now, sometimes it’s best to put this stuff in writing, in sight. It allows your mind to release it all to the paper instead of filling up your mental inbox.

Empty your mental inbox, put tasks in sight, and get it out of your mind.

The trick to getting things done is to list things to do in doable order.”  ~Robert Brault
