Fewer Photos

When you take photos too frequently, you are saying, “I’m going to live in the past, not the present.” When you are busy taking photos, you are busy missing what’s actually happening in the present, all because you want to look back on the past.

Memories are great, and photos can help you relive those moments. But maybe next time, try taking one photo instead, then put all of your focus on the present moment.

After all, photos never truly capture the moment – you just had to be there.

There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera.  And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed.  Don’t be bitter because you can’t record it.  Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is!”  ~DeGriff
